- Nomadic Matt (nomadicmatt.com): Nomadic Matt’s Travel Site, authored by Matt Kepnes, is a renowned travel blog with a custom-designed website. The blog’s design complements Matt’s mission to inspire and guide travellers with budget-friendly advice, destination insights, and captivating travel stories.
One thing I noticed is that when you first look at these blogs, none really stand out as a WordPress pre-made theme. Being a theme designer myself, I can usually and quickly spot a commercial theme.
